TRANSPARENT FROM THE BEGINNING

Understanding Your Mediation Fees

The Mediator charges an hourly rate for mediation services which varies depending on the complexity and number of issues to resolve. Before beginning, the mediator provides an estimate of costs to the parties. The parties then review and sign a retainer agreement setting out the fees applicable to their matter and make an initial retainer payment. Unless another arrangement is agreed upon, the Mediator’s fees are shared equally between the parties.

Hourly Billing

Mediation services are billed according to the Mediator's hourly rate, as outlined in the retainer agreement.

Shared Fees

Unless otherwise agreed, the Mediator's fees are divided equally between the parties.
